November 2008 Newsletter

Welcome to our first monthly newsletter! We would first like to thank everyone for your continued support. Without that support we would not be able to continue doing what we love so much.

2008 has been a very busy year for us. We have traveled from Marsden, Saskatchewan for Quad War in the Principality of Avacal, Kingdom of An Tir to Bakersfield, California for Great Western War in the Kingdom of Caid; from Idaho Falls for Uprising in the Kingdom of Artemisia to Arizona for Estrella War XXIV in the Kingdom of Atenveldt, and many, many points in between. The one consistency we have seen in all of our travels is how fantastic our SCA family is! Open arms have welcomed us wherever we have gone. We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and speaking with so many friends, both old and new, wherever we go and we are very much looking forward to next year's event season beginning with Estrella War XXV.

2008 PRIZE WINNERS:
As most of you know, we held prize drawings at 3 events this year; Estrella, Uprising and Great Western War. These drawings enable our customers to receive an item displaying their heraldry while giving us some new products that we can show throughout the year at the events we attend. The winners of the prize drawings for 2008 are:

  • ESTRELLA XXIV
    • Tile Table – Cormac the Barbarian – Kingdom of Artemisia
    • Banner – Gabriel Wayfarer – Kingdom of Artemisia
    • Table setting – Kyndel Wood - Kingdom of Atenveldt
    • Place Marker – Wilhelus le Casse- Kingdom of Atenveldt
  • UPRISING
    • Mirror Box – Genevieve de Bracewell – Kingdom of Artemisia
    • Cooler Cover - Nikolai Ivanovich Sudovskhikov – Kingdom of Artemisia

  • GREAT WESTERN WAR
    • Mirror Box - Sara Greyhand – Kingdom of the West
    • Medium shield - Michael the Lucky – Kingdom of Artemisia

Come by our booth at Estrella XV and see all of the prizes awarded during the 2008 event season!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE:
It has come to my attention from a customer in Atenveldt that the order forms and contact form on our website may not be working properly. At this time I am working to correct this problem. If you would indulge me, I would like to explain why the form may or may not work.
The main thing is that the forms work off your default e-mail client, such as Outlook or Eudora. If you don't have a default e-mail client and instead use web based e-mail such as Yahoo or Hotmail, we may not receive your message or order. Again, I am working to correct the problem at this time and will let you know when it has been completed. In the meantime, when you submit one of the forms the following will happen:

  • When you click submit after filling the form out, a new e-mail screen should pop up with all of the information you included on it as well as our e-mail address.
  • After you check all of the information, click SEND and it will be sent to us.
  • In a very short time after you send the e-mail (usually a few minutes) you will receive a generated message confirming your message was received. It will be from "Heraldic Creations" and it will have "Your Order" in the subject line. IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE THIS RESPONSE E-MAIL, WE DID NOT RECEIVE YOUR ORDER AND YOU SHOULD CONTACT ME DIRECTLY AT alexander@heraldiccreations.com or 406-314-4918. I check my e-mail very frequently during the day and I will get back to you as soon as I read it.
Again, if the above does not happen in the order listed, please contact me directly by e-mail or phone because we probably did not receive your message or order.
